[Plagues of Eden Project Eden Thriller #4] Read é Sharon Linnea

Plagues of Eden Project Eden Thriller #4I received this book from Goodreads in exchange for a reviewWhat starts out as the fourth wedding for Army Chaplain Jaime Richards and Yani aka Sword 23 ends up being a race against time to stop the plagues that threaten the world With their I Do s barely uttered both Jaime and Yani are sent off in different directions to discover those behind the plagues and stop them Jamie is surprised to find that she is accompanying Mark Shepherd a love interest from her past These two wing their way to their first stop Egypt to investigate the archaeological site where fire rained from the sky Meanwhile Yani or William Jonathan Burton as his Terris birth certificate identifies him is sent off to the Golden Sun Winery in China While a madman is uses the plagues to coerce world leaders to do his the bidding there is something sinister and personal at stake for Yani as someone from his past tries to exact his own revenge Plagues of Eden is a fast moving well plotted novel The twists and turns of the story kept me on the edge of my seat It was a book I didn t want to put down until I had finished reading it 35 Stars Rounded upSome slow long and boring weeks it s a blast to read a riptide of an adventure novel This is the first book in the Eden series I have read but it was fairly easy to follow along in the storyline I read up a bit on character backgrounds and the blurbs of the first three books to get a bit of an idea but really this book can be read alone The book could appeal to a mature YA audience or adult I agree with other readers that the book could work for either male or female readers There is an emphasis on the overall storyline rather than just focusing on specific genre such as romance Army Chaplain Jaime is a strong female lead and is supported by her husband Yani and rockstar Mark Someone sinister is releasing plagues such as those rained on Egypt in the far past Hopping around the world and to one crazy and explosive mystery to the next everyone races to try and stop the nefarious wiles of a madman that might just start the next great world war Fast moving adventure mystery and out of world possibilities keeps the book entertaining and open to a wide audience in how to interpret the storyNote I received a copy of this ebook in return for an honest review This did not affect my review in any way Plagues of Eden sucked me in from the very first page To be honest it was the title that first attracted me I mean anything with the word plagues in the title has to be intriguing right For instance my post on The Plagues of HomeschoolThis book is a fast paced race against time through Egypt France China and Italy with a few other places thrown in for good measure The main characters are all complicated people walking the often thin line between good and evil Some fall occasionally as do we all and some throw themselves headlong into the abyss The ethics and emotions of we all and some throw themselves headlong into the abyss The ethics and emotions of difficult choices are the building blocks of the book The action and adventure is bonusThe mysterious Eden in the book is a fascinating near utopia that I would love to read about I especially enjoyed the interaction between Jaime Yani and the other Gardeners of EdenMy least favorite point of view in fiction is third person omniscient For me reading the perspective of too many different characters than say 4 or 5 is just too confusing Unfortunately many writers these days tend to gravitate towards this particular point of view This book is no exception and while I enjoyed it thoroughly the freuently changing perspective is my only real complaint I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest reviewThis book begins fast and the action keeps ou on Surfing: The World's Best Surf Breaks and Techniques (World Sports Guide) your toes throughout the entire book I loved that about it It is a great international thriller along the lines of Dan Brown s Da Vinci Code This isn t centralized on the Catholic Church but on Eden It has the same feel as The DaVinci Code trying to get ahead of the plagues that were visited upon Egypt by God and His messenger MosesThere was something I really didn t like about it which would have explained a bunch of the confusion I experienced You see the book starts out with the third plague In fact it kind of dropsou in the middle of something and without knowing that it is part of a series I myself asking myself Is This Is Second Book Of is second book of series When actually its the fourth of series Since I just found that out that explains a bunch of the confusion that I felt The blurb I was given didn t make it sound like a part of a series Perhaps I would have shied away from the book if I had known On one hand I m glad I didn t know on the other it has changed the way I enjoyed the book tremendously I think changing the cover just slightly to put a line stating that it is book 4 of the Eden Series would be awesomeBecause it was the fourth in a series there wasn t much character development so I didn t feel anything towards the characters Yani and Jaimedidn t feel anything towards them A wedding in a military church which ends with the groom getting in one plane and the bride in another Throw in some ancient plagues a lot of wine and a lot of traveling Shake and The Infernal you have the works of a fantastic mystery story which will takeou to Egypt France Italy and some other amazing loc. Army Chaplain Lt Col Jaime Richards and her now husband the mysterious Yani return to stop a AtionsA wonderful and fast paced mystery that will keep The Divers' Game you moving through the book very easily While there may seem to be a ton of characters they are very easy to distinguish after reading a bit further There was an eual part fast pace mystery combined with a wonderful story about the different individuals and how the Plagues of Eden is the fourth in the series of the Eden Thrillers Book Series I would highly recommend reading the first three books to get the background to the story orou will miss some of the connections as I did and this will take away from Think & Trade Like a Champion: The Secrets, Rules & Blunt Truths of a Stock Market Wizard your enjoyment and understanding of this novelBasically there is a madman on the loose who has decided and thoroughly planned out how to carry out the same plagues that God rained down on the Egyptians in the old testament unless his demands are met turning the sea to blood the plague of darkness and so on right up to the death of the firstborn He leaves clues as to where the next plague will be carried out because he is not doing this in just one country but worldwide causing havoc everywhere economic destruction and chaos all over the worldChaplain Jaime Richards and Mark Shepard a rock star are hot on the trail of the madman following his clues which are left in code It s a giant scavenger hunt with the world as the prizeThe intensity of the suspense is ramped up as the entire book takes place over only three days There are lots of surprises in the plot to keepou guessing tooI liked the characters of Jaime and Mark though Mark didn t seem like the kind of guy I would expect to be a rock star Maybe I m stereotyping rock stars I do think I would have enjo The prologue begins at an archaeological dig in Egypt As they are getting ready to go home for the day it begins hailing hailstones of fire Savino Latorre backed by business mogul Shanlei has waited ten long ears to perfect the same type of plagues as the Bible plagues from Moses day They are now ready They ve created a website called WheelofPlaguescom so the world can watch their countdown The most destructive plague is only seventy two hours away Death of the FirstbornChaplain Maj Jaime Richards and Yani were getting married at the Cadet Chapel at West Point Yani Sword 23 is from Eden an altruistic society providing help to those in the Terris world Yani s Terris birth certificate shows his name as William Jonathan Burton and he is a weapons inspector with the United Nations Only moments into their vows they were being called into service an emergency of international significance Mark Shepherd a rock star and Jaime s former romantic interest was at the wedding He manages to be on the plane with Jaime as she is assigned this case and is on her way to Egypt He s helping like it or notThe author "ingeniously creates a story of criminals perfecting how to use Biblically proportioned plagues against mankind they do so for "creates a story of criminals perfecting how to use Biblically proportioned plagues against mankind they do so for There is a lot of action and fantasy in the novels of The Eden Thriller series I had not read the three prior books but felt like the story was contained so that it could be read as a standalone The fantasy is not too overdone Fantasy locations as well as real locations are within the book There are uite a few characters to keep track of Each chapter is preceded with the date time and location The characters of Jaime Yani and Mark are all strong willed and likable I rated Plagues of Eden at 4 out of 5httpwwwfictionzealcomplagues ed Plagues of Eden is a non stop action ride for 72 hours in book time There is no getting off Well I didn t want to The collaboration of Sharon Linnea and BK Sherer made this a top notch espionage thriller The first 20 minutes or so takes ou thru all the characters in this who what where and why thriller The authors take Instructor's manual for Selected topics in mathematics by Edward L Spitznagel Jr you first 20 minutes or so diligently will keep ou on the right track for the next 8 hours of the novel So onto the important part the reviewThe Plot A madman wanting to take control of businesses and government ruling around the world for his benefit In order to get his ways he is unleashing the 10 plagues All over a 72 hour period leading up to the death of the first born The story opens in Tell
